Resveratrol is a stilbenoid - a type of natural phenol. It is found in the skin of red grapes and in other fruits as well as in the roots of Japanese knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum). Pure Encapsulations Resveratrol is concentrated to provide powerful antioxidant support.
Resveratrol increases the levels of superoxide dismutase within the cell. Superoxide dismutase is an important protector against free radical chain reactions.
