Glycine

Glycine is the simplest amino acid; its side chain consists of just a single hydrogen atom.
This amino acid is abundant in the body, making up one third of the structure of collagen. It is therefore crucial for the integrity of ligaments and skin; as well as tendons, bones, cartilage and intervertebral discs.
Glycine is also involved in the synthesis of haem and is involved in the synthesis of creatine for energy.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans; and GMO free

Glycine may be contraindicated for individuals immediately recovering from stroke, taking the antipsychotic drug clozapine, or those with liver and kidney disease
