Artemesia Annua
Available in 30ml dropper bottles
Artemesia annua (also known as Annual Wormwood, Absinthe Sauvage) contains a chemical called artemisinin that seems to be effective against the parasites that cause malaria. Some drug manufacturers make anti-malarial medications from artemisinin that has been modified in the laboratory.
Artemesia is recognised as a general anti-parasitic herb. It appears to have its effect only on the mature parasite and not on the egg or larva. It is also a potential anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent.
It may reduce pain and stiffness and improve function in people with osteoarthritis of the hip or knee.
* Contains alcohol
Special Note
Artemesia annua may cause an allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to the Asteraceae/Compositae family. Members of this family include ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, and many others
